THE PROJECT
Replacing an external wall system to improve fire performance
Cordwainer House is a higher-risk building cladding remediation project. The work involves replacing the external wall system to improve fire performance and achieve compliance with the Building Regulations.
Our role was to review the design information and compliance evidence, identify gaps and help the team demonstrate compliance with the functional requirements of the Building Regulations.

BCC provided ongoing Building Regulations advice to the BRPD throughout the Gateway 2 submission process. We supported design team coordination, coordinated requests for further information and assisted in documenting compliance for the submission to the Building Safety Regulator.
